My book turned out quite nice actually, apart from it being a little dark and arriving the morning on my deadline which sucks a little bit. There were meant to be two books also but apparently there was a problem printing the second one, I've been refunded but still. Two would have been better than one.

MINI MEN

As with the other book, here the small selection of the contact sheet encompassing the little dudes and their fowl language and then the image underneath a more 'finalized' image for the book. Edited with my own hand writing from a scanned image. It's very much on the same vibe as the previous one but I think has enough differences to warrant it's own publication and that way they work well as a set.

REFINED PICTURES

As I said I decided I was going too get a decent camera and take some photos of some day to day things I'd done for my book however I decided to ask a photographer to help me get some decent photos instead of me giving it a go.

Below is a small sample of the kind of photos we took and then one of my final images that will be going into the book; I'm pretty happy with how the photos turned out.

I decided to not just do bin bags but still cut out drawn illustrations and instead make it all photographs of objects I found. I then wrote on them from things I'd heard around me; relevant to the object of place.

I took all of these on my phone and even though it's a very D.I.Y type book I don't think they hold up fantastically and I'm going to get a decent camera to take the pictures with.
