Final Presented Piece

Through all the experiments; feedback; pier reviews and tutor feedback this was the final design I went with. I believe the whole anarchy of the piece fits together in all its elements, the use of ink and splatter with erratic lines and what appears to be no composition makes the whole piece seem very almost not thought out and archaic. I don't like it though..
Pier Review.

Again we did a pier view on each others work (Which really makes you feel out your depth) We had to draw on 6 scraps of paper 3 eyes for best atheistic pieces and 3 thought bubbles for best conveyed idea. Again I feel everyone was a bit too kind but it's always nice to get feedback and nice comments off everyone and  I always appreciate it.
Process.
Just a quick snapshot of progress on how I went about creating this peice, I usually lay the ink; watercolour down first to keep everything loose and easy then when its dry quickly go over it with fine liner, using a lightbox. Then back over again throwing inks over the top.

Monday Crit Feedback

Monday crit was the same method as our Summer 10 feedback, we walked around looked at each others work, left; comments; crtis; advice and praise if due. Which then lead us onto our next project of creating and A2 piece based off everything we had done so far around our summer brief and group critz.
Some comments
  • Interesting style
  • Style suits the conflict  - stabbing the page

Summer 10 Feedback

After every one left their summer 10 projects out we all ha to have a group crit. in where we talked around and left crits;comments and general feedback on other students work we found interesting; that worked well or just generally caught your eye. I got some helpful and in my opinion for too kind feedback of everyone, Mainly about the use of lift and media insight with the actual designs at hand.

Garment

'EAT MY BALLS'
We had to create a t-shirt or garment based on our summer 10 project and the 10 images that we produced. The above image was my result. The Ink bled far too much so this could be seen as a 'first draft' of the project but it adds to the intense and erratic nature of the piece and goes well with the line work. If I were to do this project again i would of gone for a smaller; more concentrate image and placed it upon the front of the top but t his will do.

Summer 10

Our summer brief consisted of being asked 10 questions which we had to visually answer. It was meant to be presented in a 10x10 manner in the brief but from not reading the brief correctly I produced my 10 images on one piece of paper instead. Even though I like the composition and how everything fits around themselves, I should of read the blog properly and produced the image in 10, 10x10 illustrations.
