TASK
Working in monochrome
In sketchbook or loose cartridge (A4/A3)
Use (a minimum of) 10 different tools
Make (a minimum of) 3 drawings with each

This is very much a continuation from last week’s task, but with a focus on exploring the drawn line.

COMBINED WITH

By next Tues, 5th Nov
9:30am in the studio
Display a body of work evidencing your experimentation with ten different drawing tools (minimum).
Documentation of your tools on your blog would be a good idea.
Five drawings (minimum) with each tool in response to your chosen visual subject. With a focus on drawn line, tone, made mark and pattern.

Crit:
First part in monochrome, I didn't like and getting my hand on ten tools was harder than i thought, does using a pencil from the point then turning it round count? It should do. There's a lot more of these but they kinda suck. In fact I think all of these kinda do but I did learn a fair bit, especially I really like using tools the way they weren't designed. You get some really interesting lines and and things happening on a page that you just can't get if you're doing it traditionally.
