SUNDAY/TUESDAY two books that are currently finished! Which is awesome. Looking back it can't understand why it's been so difficult to get them done. I think I'm second guessing myself a lot since I've already messed up this project once I'm quite worried I'm going to do it again. I believe this are a good progression from the first book I submitted for 505. These books encompass more of my practice and have much more fun aura around them.
The last page on 'TUESDAY' you may have noticed is a digital drawing over a image. That image was taken from the internet. I decided on it after looking at more Jon Burgerman's work. The problem with me for the first book mainly, and the problem i'd been having with these is sometimes the quotes are great and they could be funny but it's not always practical to find something to draw on. So then I went to drawing on paper and including it but now i've also decided to draw over images on the internet digitally. It's a super quick process that I quite like HOWEVER I'm not too sure on the pink; it doesn't fit with the rest. As all other pen work has been black or orange.
These images of Jon's are what made me start to add a little digital to my Zines, if anything just to make them a bit more interesting and I don't know why I had barred myself from doing ti anyway, It fits perfectly well with what I'm doing; it's add more and takes nothing away. Jon's work I think just reminded me that it was an option.
