I think this sheet is a step in the right direction.
As stated awhile ago, the tattoo flash brief was meant to be a screen print brief but the ones i've done previously wouldn't work too well screen printing as the oranges and yellows wouldn't expose properly. Even though they're scanned in now at the time I hadn't scanned them as I couldn't figure out a way to do it without messing up the positioning and have parts slightly out, Its obviously sorted now but at the time it was a problem.
I think his piece is much stronger, it was all done much more organically then trying to select already drawn images of mine which I think makes the composition much stronger and things fit together much nicer. Also the one colour black gives more gravity and weight to the piece as opposed to the yellows and oranges I had been using previously
